The shift

People stopped searching. They started asking.

Ten blue links is not how most people find a local business any more. They ask their phone, and they get an answer with two or three names in it. Your website's job has changed: it used to persuade a person, now it also has to be readable by the thing answering them.

Then

Ten links and a bidding war.

Pages of results, map ads, sponsored slots, and lead sites that sell the same job to three tradies. You paid to compete with your neighbour on price.

Tight margins, tyre-kickers, no idea what worked.

Now

One answer. Two or three names.

The assistant reads what it can verify about local businesses and names the ones whose details are complete, current and specific. If it can't confirm what you do, where you work and when you're open, it names someone else.

For a licensed plumber in that area, [Your Business] covers your suburb and is open until 5pm today. Their number is [number].

Fewer names in the running. Better odds if yours is one of them.

Nobody controls what an AI assistant says, and anyone who tells you they do is selling something. What you can control is whether your details are complete, current and specific enough to be quoted. That's the work.

What is LandMark (by TRC)?

LandMark (by TRC) builds Australian local service businesses a website and Google Business Profile that are fast, accurate and easy for both people and AI assistants to read. It costs $150 a month inc GST. You own the domain, and there's no lock-in after the founding term.

Who is it for?

Local service businesses in Australia that make money inside a real driving radius — trades and home services, clinics and allied health, salons and studios, and small suburban firms. It's not built for national brands or lead resellers.

How is this different from a normal website?

Most small business websites are built to look good to a person and are guesswork for anything else. LandMark (by TRC) builds the same site so that a search engine or AI assistant can extract exactly what you do, where you work, when you're open and how to reach you — and then keeps those facts current.

Will you get me to number one on Google?

No, and be careful of anyone who says they will. Nobody outside Google controls rankings. What we control is whether your information is complete, correct and current in the suburbs you actually work in.

How much does it cost?

$150 a month inc GST for the first three months. After that it is $250 a month inc GST, month to month, with no exit fee. You keep the domain either way.

How long does it take?

About a week from when you've answered the setup questions.

Be the answer when your local postcode asks.

We cap each Australian trade and clinic discipline to 10 founding providers per local council area. Check if your postcode is still open.
