01 — WHY THE WORK DIFFERS
Google says local results come down to relevance, distance and prominence, and the parts you control are the basics: complete, accurate, verified details, current hours, photos, and reviews you respond to. The basics look identical on paper. In practice they are not.
None of this is complicated. It is detail a national template gets wrong and a person paying attention gets right. Our monthly checklist is the same in every city; the entries on it are not.
The licence number on your profile.
A Queensland electrician’s carries a QBCC number; a New South Wales one carries NSW Fair Trading.
Public holidays that aren’t national.
Victoria’s aren’t Western Australia’s. A profile that says “open” on a day you’re closed is a one-star review waiting to happen.
The hour a review gets answered.
Perth runs two to three hours behind the east coast. That matters when someone reviews you at 5pm and expects a reply that evening.
How people describe where they are.
Brisbane’s northside and southside shape how customers search. Sydney’s Inner West, Shire and Hills District do the same thing differently.
02 — WHERE WE WORK
Home base. Our first case study, Reliable Computers in Oatley, is here, and onboarding calls can be in person across Greater Sydney if you prefer.
Victorian building and plumbing licensing, and the public holidays the rest of the country doesn’t get.
A review-reply and posting schedule set to AWST, not Sydney time — so replies land the same evening, not the next morning.
QBCC licensing for building trades, and the northside/southside search habits that shape how Brisbane customers look for a local trade.
Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart, Darwin, the Gold Coast, Newcastle, Geelong, regional towns: the service is identical and onboarding is by video call. Book a call and we’ll set your state’s details from day one.
03 — WHAT’S THE SAME EVERYWHERE
Every LandMark(by TRC) client, in every city, gets the same six inclusions — $150 a month inc GST, month to month, no lock-in, and you own every account we set up.
The detail of each one is on the What LandMark(by TRC) does page, with the pricing. This page is only about what changes with your city.
04 — THREE QUESTIONS ABOUT LOCATION
No. Everything LandMark(by TRC) does happens in your Google, Bing, Apple and social accounts, which we manage with your permission from Sydney. What we do need is to know your city, and to get its details right. If you’d like an in-person onboarding, that’s available across Greater Sydney.
Only where it’s genuine. Google treats pages created for city after city that all funnel to the same place as spam, and it says so in its policies. We build a suburb or area page where you actually work there and can show it: jobs done, local reviews, local staff. Otherwise one clear service-area page does the job and keeps you out of trouble.
No. Same six inclusions, same price, same monthly report. The city detail above exists because we can say something specific and useful about those places; if you’re in Adelaide or Cairns, we’ll get your state’s details right in the same way.
