SyncMate (ABN 22 700 262 620) (“SyncMate”, “we”, “us”) operates syncmate.com.au. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
Name, business name, email address, phone number, and any information you voluntarily provide through our website, contact forms, account setup, or during your use of our services.
How we use it
To provide our services, respond to enquiries, manage your account, send service-related communications, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Third party tools
We use trusted third-party services to help operate SyncMate, including AI, hosting, communications, payment, analytics and other business tools. Each operates under its own privacy policy and, where applicable, data processing arrangements.
Spam protection on our forms
To protect our forms from automated spam, we use a bot check provided by Vercel Inc. When you use or send a form on this website, your IP address, browser details and a security token are processed by Vercel, which may be outside Australia.
Google Business Profile data
When you connect a Google account, you authorise SyncMate, through Google’s secure sign-in (OAuth), to access the Google Business Profile information for the businesses you manage. Depending on the features you turn on, this can include your business details, your posts and updates, your reviews and their replies, and your profile performance information.
We use this access only to provide the features you have asked for, such as showing your latest Google updates and reviews on your website, helping you reply to reviews, and keeping your business details consistent across Google. We do not use Google user data to train AI models, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
We store this information securely with our hosting and database providers, use it only to run the service for you, and keep it only while your connection is active. You can disconnect Google at any time from your SyncMate account, or from your Google account’s third-party access settings, which removes our access.
SyncMate’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Meta Pixel
Our public pages carry the Meta Pixel, which tells Meta that a browser visited a page on this site. We use it to measure our advertising. We do not send Meta your name, email address or phone number. You can limit this in your Meta ad preferences, or with your browser’s tracking protection.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act, you have the right to access or correct your personal information and, where applicable, request its deletion. Contact us at hello@syncmate.com.au.
