LandMark(by TRC) IN SYDNEY

Sydney is where LandMark started. It’s the city we know street by street.

Our first client, Reliable Computers in Oatley, is a 20-minute drive from the office. Plumber in the Shire, conveyancer in Parramatta, physio in the Inner West, electrician covering the Hills — we can meet you in person, look at your listings together, and set them up to NSW rules from day one.

01 — SYDNEY

What’s different about being found in Sydney

Google’s local results run on relevance, distance and prominence everywhere. What differs in Sydney is the detail underneath.

The monthly checklist is the same in every city. The entries on it are not.

Your licence number belongs on your profile, by law.

NSW requires the licensee’s name and licence number in all advertising for residential building work over $5,000, and for electrical, plumbing, draining, gas fitting and air conditioning work of any value — and that includes the internet. Your Google profile, your Facebook page and your website are advertising. Most Sydney trade profiles we check are missing the number, or show an expired one.

Sydney searches by region, not just suburb.

Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, Northern Beaches, North Shore, the Hills, the Shire, St George, Western Sydney, the South West, Macarthur. A tradie in Oatley gets calls from Hurstville and Mortdale, not from Manly. We set your service area to the regions you actually cover.

Daylight saving changes your hours twice a year.

NSW moves to AEDT in October and back in April. And Easter Saturday and Sunday are public holidays here when they aren’t everywhere. We set NSW holidays for the year ahead and check hours the week before each one.

Sydney customers check more places.

Google first, then Facebook suburb groups, then a trade marketplace or review site. For an IT business that means Google and Whirlpool; for a plumber, hipages and the local community group; for a law firm, LinkedIn and the Law Society of NSW register.

02 — EVERY MONTH

What LandMark(by TRC) does for a Sydney business every month.

The same six inclusions as every city — $150 a month inc GST, no lock-in, and you own every account.

Full detail on each one is on the What LandMark(by TRC) does page. This page is about how they land in Sydney.

Listings on Google, Bing and Apple.

Claimed, verified, matched to the character, with your NSW licence number and your real service area. NSW holiday hours set. Duplicates removed.

Google Business Profile.

Categories chosen as Sydney customers search, plain-English services, fresh job photos, and Q&A seeded with what Sydney callers ask — “do you cover the Northern Beaches?”, “do you do strata work?”

A website AI assistants can read.

Ask ChatGPT “who’s a good electrician in Ryde” and it has to find, read and trust your facts. Real HTML, crawlers let in, services and licence in a form people and machines both verify.

Reviews, replies and Ask a Review.

One tap after each job, then a reply in your voice within 24 hours. We watch Google, Facebook and wherever your trade gets talked about — Whirlpool for IT, hipages for trades, the Law Society register for firms. Sydney clinics: we manage your Google reviews but never put testimonials on your own site, because AHPRA prohibits it.

Social profiles.

Your Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn say the same thing as your Google profile — same name, same number, same hours. For a Sydney firm or clinic, LinkedIn is the one people underrate: it is among the sources AI assistants quote most.

Google Posts.

Four a month: a job photo with two lines, a seasonal note (storm season, end of financial year, Christmas shutdown), an offer if you’re running one, and a what-to-expect reminder.

03 — PROOF

Reliable Computers, Oatley.

A computer repair and IT support business in Oatley, in Sydney’s St George area.

Why they came to us. reason, in the owner’s words

What we found. Audit findings — unclaimed listings, mismatched hours, a generic category, a review backlog, a site AI crawlers could not read.

The first 90 days. Claimed and aligned Google, Bing and Apple. Rebuilt the Business Profile categories, services and photos for the St George area. Set up Ask a Review and same-day replies. Completed Facebook and LinkedIn. Published weekly Google Posts. Made the website readable to AI assistants and ran the first Sydney spot-check.

04 — WHO IT’S FOR

Who this is for in Sydney.

Plumbers, electricians, air-conditioning and gas fitters, builders and other licensed trades; solicitors, conveyancers and small law firms; physios, dentists, GPs and allied-health clinics; salons, mechanics, vets, IT and repair shops. Any Sydney business with a real address or a defined service area.

Not for you if

You’re online-only, or you want a promised map position. Nobody can promise that, and we won’t.

05 — THREE QUESTIONS

What Sydney businesses ask us.

Do I need separate pages for every suburb I cover?

Usually not, and doing it badly can hurt you. Google’s spam policy calls out pages made for city after city that funnel to the same place. If you genuinely work the Shire and St George and can show it with jobs and local reviews, one or two area pages make sense. Otherwise a clear service-area page plus a well-set profile does the job.

Can you come out to see us?

Yes, anywhere in Greater Sydney. Most onboarding happens on a video call because it’s quicker for you, but if you’d rather sit down and go through your listings on your own screen, we’ll come to you.

What if I’m a Sydney business but my customers are all over NSW?

We set your service area honestly: where you actually travel and will take a job. Overstating it gets you calls you’ll decline and reviews you don’t want. If you cover Sydney and the Central Coast, we say Sydney and the Central Coast.
