Trades and home services · Australia
I'm a tradie. I don't need more ads. I need the locals who already want a plumber.
Someone two suburbs away has a job today. They ask Google or ChatGPT who to ring. If your name is not in that answer, the van down the road gets the call.

Where the money went
You already tried the expensive options.
Google Ads
You're bidding against everyone in the metro area, including national brands with deeper pockets. Emergency clicks in a capital city can run $20 or more, and a click is not a booked job. Most of the first month's budget goes out before the campaign has enough data to get smart.
Works, if you can afford to lose money while it learns.
Meta and boosted posts
Fine for planned work and brand recall. Useless for a burst pipe. Boosting buys engagement from people who were never going to ring you.
Wrong tool for urgent work.
hipages and lead marketplaces
Packages run from $139 a month for the Starter tier to $649 for Platinum, before credits. Each job is shared with up to three tradies, and lead prices in credits shift with trade, location and demand. You pay to quote against your neighbour.
Volume, at the cost of margin.
hipages pricing and Google Ads ranges checked September 2026. hipages figures are ex GST. Ad spend ranges are typical Australian figures for trades, not a quote — your numbers depend on trade, city and competition.
What changed
Customers don't scroll ten blue links any more.
They ask their phone and get two or three names. A good-looking website that a machine can't read is the same as not being there — it can't confirm what you do, where you go, or whether you're open right now.
What a machine can tell about you
Whether your trade, your suburbs, your hours and your phone number are stated plainly enough to be quoted. Most trade websites bury all four in a paragraph or an image.
Why distance matters
Google's own local ranking comes down to relevance, distance and prominence. Distance is measured from the person searching — which is why a real depot address and a real radius beat "we cover all of Sydney".
Your working radius — the suburbs you actually drive
ExampleLandMark (by TRC) is built around a real working radius. A page for each suburb you actually drive to, anchored to where your van starts. Not one paragraph claiming the whole city.
Side by side
What changes when the site is built for the listing and the machines
| Area | Now | With LandMark(by TRC) |
|---|---|---|
| Nearby and map searches | Basic details, an old map embed, address and hours that may not match what Google has | Complete, consistent details anchored to your real depot and radius |
| What an assistant can say about you | It has to guess from paragraphs written for people | Your trade, suburbs, hours and number stated plainly enough to quote |
| Your service area | One line saying you cover the whole city | A page for each suburb you actually drive to, with real detail |
| Your Google listing | Set up once, then left — hours drift, holidays wrong, photos old | Kept current, including public holidays |
| If you leave | Site locked to the agency's builder, gone when you stop paying | Your domain, your site, your data. It comes with you. |
What you actually asked for
Clear requirements. No marketing theatre.
“I don't want another login.”
There isn't one. When something changes, you text or email us and we handle it.
“I don't want to bid on my own suburb.”
You don't. No per-lead fees, no auction, no sharing the job with two other vans.
“I want the phone to ring from people who already need the work.”
That's the whole design: be findable and correct in the suburbs you actually drive, for the work you actually do.

Have a question?Call 02 9099 1055Yes. Your own website is the most-visited source when AI assistants make local recommendations — directories and listings support it rather than replace it. Your Google Business Profile and your website need to agree with each other, and both need to be right.
It depends on your margin. Packages run $139–$649 a month ex GST plus credits, and each job goes to up to three tradies, so you're competing on price for a lead you've already paid for. It suits tradies who need volume fast and quote quickly. It works poorly if your margin is thin or your diary is already half-full.
No. Nobody outside Google can promise that. We make you correct, fast and complete in your radius, which is the part that's actually in anyone's control.
As many as you genuinely service and can talk about specifically. A page per suburb works when each one is real. Twenty near-identical pages with the name swapped is thin content and it can hurt you.
That's normal for trades. Google supports service-area businesses that hide the street address while still working from a real location. We set it up that way.
You keep the domain. We hand over what's yours. There's no exit fee after the founding term.
